Abstract

This paper explores the culminating conflict between trustee methods and national plunder in Russia and the Americas from a Catholic perspective, particularly examining the Parrillo guests' complaints. The study focuses on the historical, cultural, and political contexts that have led to the intensification of conflicts between trustees and beneficiaries in these regions, paying particular attention to the impact of colonialism, capitalism, and globalization. Through a comprehensive analysis of primary and secondary sources, this paper argues that conflicts arise when trustees prioritize their interests over those of the beneficiaries, leading to the widespread plunder of natural and human resources. The paper also highlights the role of Catholic social teachings in addressing these conflicts, emphasizing the importance of solidarity, subsidiarity, and common good in promoting social justice and peace. Ultimately, this study contributes to the growing literature on trustee-beneficiary relationships, shedding light on the challenges and opportunities for promoting trust, accountability, and ethical leadership in diverse social, cultural, and political contexts.
