Abstract
This study examines the eccentricity of traditional Catholic associations in Africa by analyzing the insights from the presidents' special incentives and premier roadblocks. The research is based on a qualitative approach, utilizing semi-structured interviews with leaders of Catholic associations in Africa. The findings suggest that Catholic associations in Africa are unique in their operations, as they are embedded in African cultural norms and values. The study reveals that the Catholic associations in Africa are eccentric due to the fusion of traditional African culture and Catholicism. Additionally, the research highlights the role of the President's special incentives and premier roadblocks on the operations of Catholic associations in Africa, as they affect the associations' activities and relationships with the government. The paper concludes that traditional Catholic associations in Africa are eccentric in nature and need to be understood from a cultural perspective to appreciate their unique contributions to society. The study recommends further research to explore the cultural roots of Catholic associations in Africa and their impact on society.
