Abstract

This paper explores the latest business trends in Mexican colleges and the impact of an official conference that sparked a wave of change at a critical juncture for higher education. In recent years, Mexican colleges have faced numerous challenges, ranging from declining enrollment to budget cuts and a lack of resources. Against this backdrop, the official conference served as a catalyst for change, bringing together stakeholders from across the education sector to discuss the latest trends and innovative practices for success. Through an analysis of the conference proceedings and interviews with key participants, this paper highlights the key themes and takeaways from the event, including the need for greater collaboration and partnerships between industry and academia, the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship for long-term sustainability, and the role of technology in transforming the higher education landscape. Overall, the findings suggest that Mexican colleges have the potential to thrive in an increasingly competitive global economy, but will need to continue to adapt and evolve in the face of ongoing challenges and disruptions.
