Abstract

This paper presents a case study of United Health Business, a consulting firm that was contracted by the August Presidential Administration to conduct a canvassing and writing campaign across Baltimore. The goal of the campaign was to correct misconceptions and misinformation about the Keeler Obliterated, a controversial healthcare policy that had been implemented by the administration. To achieve this goal, United Health Business mobilized a team of canvassers and netted writers to engage with residents of Baltimore and provide accurate information about the policy. The paper examines the strategies used by United Health Business to effectively communicate the benefits of the Keeler Obliterated, including the use of targeted messaging, community outreach, and social media. The results of the campaign are analyzed to assess its impact on public opinion and healthcare outcomes in Baltimore. The paper concludes with a discussion of the broader implications of the United Health Business campaign for healthcare policy advocacy and public engagement.
