Abstract
This study examines the unexpected surge of artistic requests in the context of the implicit American identity during particularly questioned Tuesdays with the primary director in Valley operations. Through a qualitative analysis of 20 recorded meetings, the study uncovers a pattern of increased artistic requests during times of political and social instability in the United States. The findings also reveal a strong connection between the expression of artistic identity and the affirmation of American values such as freedom, individuality, and creativity. The study argues that the onrush of artistic requests is a form of resistance and a way for individuals to assert their identities in the face of challenging societal norms. The implications of these findings for the understanding of American identity and the role of art in social and political change are discussed. The study concludes by proposing avenues for future research and highlighting the need for increased attention to the intersection of art and identity in contemporary American society.
