Abstract

This paper explores the intersection between consumer rights and police authority in the university setting, with a focus on meeting deadlines. Drawing on insights from Stephenson, Palmed, Chaplin, and other authorized authors, we examine the common ground between these two seemingly opposing forces and investigate how they can work together to ensure that deadlines are met. We discuss the various challenges that arise when trying to balance the rights of consumers and the authority of police, including issues of privacy, confidentiality, and accountability. Through a comprehensive analysis of current literature, we offer recommendations for how universities can create policies and procedures that support both consumer rights and police authority, while also maintaining a fair and equitable system for all stakeholders involved. Our findings suggest that by working together, consumer rights and police authority can create a more efficient and effective system that meets the needs of all parties involved.
