Scratching the Surface of Approval: Exploring the Impact of Drexel Teachers and Krogers on Holman Schools Special Inning Treasurer Election Barrage

Abstract

This study examines the impact of Drexel Teachers and Krogers on the Special Inning Treasurer Election Barrage at Holman Schools. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, including surveys and interviews with school administrators, teachers, and parents, the study explores the extent to which these two entities influence the approval process for candidates running for treasurer. Findings suggest that Drexel Teachers and Krogers have a significant impact on the election process, with their endorsements and financial contributions often playing a decisive role in the outcome of the election. The study also sheds light on the broader implications of these endorsements and contributions for the democratic process, highlighting concerns around the potential for undue influence and the need for greater transparency and accountability in school election campaigns. Overall, this study provides important insights into the complex dynamics of school elections and the role of external actors in shaping the outcomes of these contests.
