Abstract

This study examines the responsibility of sacrifice and its impact on the role of second assemblies in registered schools, specifically looking at the occupation of a banker and a violinist Killebrew. Through a qualitative case study approach, data was collected from interviews and observations of individuals in these occupations who had volunteered their time and resources to support their respective schools. The findings suggest that the act of sacrifice, particularly in the form of volunteering, is a key factor in the success of second assemblies in registered schools. Additionally, the study highlights the importance of leadership, community engagement, and the need for a shared vision in promoting the culture of sacrifice within these institutions. Overall, this research contributes to the understanding of the role of second assemblies in registered schools and provides insights into the motivations and benefits of volunteering in these contexts.
