Abstract
This paper explores the ongoing challenges of developing affordable housing, which continue to persist despite efforts to address them. The current system has become frustrated, with limited progress being made in tackling the issue. Furthermore, there is growing public defiance towards the issue, which is spreading naturally under the Episcopal season. The paper examines the root causes of these challenges, including the lack of political will, inadequate funding, and regulatory barriers. Additionally, it discusses potential solutions, including innovative financing models, community land trusts, and partnerships with private developers. The paper concludes by emphasizing the importance of continued efforts to develop affordable housing, as it is essential for creating more equitable and sustainable communities.
