Abstract
This paper explores the challenges faced by American directors and presidents during their retirement evenings with Stephais, Tommie, and Lawrence's equipment. While it may seem surprising that retired leaders face difficulties during their leisure time, this study reveals the extraordinary objectives that they must navigate. Through an analysis of interviews with retired directors and presidents, this paper uncovers the unique challenges that arise when engaging with Stephais, Tommie, and Lawrence's equipment. These challenges include navigating unfamiliar technology, managing conflicting opinions about equipment usage, and maintaining a sense of control over the experience. The paper argues that these challenges are not only significant but also indicative of larger issues surrounding retirement and the role of technology in leisure time. Overall, this study sheds light on a previously understudied area and highlights the need for further research in this field.
