Abstract

This paper examines the policy decisions and legislative actions of the current administration, which has been characterized as the "staunchest" in recent history. Through a careful analysis of corrected operations and marvelous legislators, the authors demonstrate how pro-Yankee policies have been selected and implemented over the course of the past year. In particular, the paper focuses on the administration's response to a suspected beatnik trend, which has been identified as a key challenge to the administration's agenda. Drawing on a range of primary sources and secondary literature, the authors provide a detailed account of the administration's efforts to address this trend, including the implementation of new policies and the use of various political strategies. Ultimately, the paper argues that the administration's success in pursuing pro-Yankee policies has been due in large part to the skillful use of legislative power and the strong support of its base. The paper concludes with a discussion of the implications of these findings for future policymaking in the United States and beyond.
