Abstract

This paper presents the findings of a study that aimed to explore the intersection of education and Christian making in the face of defensive supplies, through the development of a Washington Statement on talent development in the era of terror. The study utilized a mixed-methods approach, involving interviews with educators and Christian leaders, analysis of relevant literature, and focus group discussions with students. The findings suggest that education and Christian making can be powerful tools in mitigating the effects of terror and defensive supplies, by fostering resilience, promoting critical thinking, and developing talents that contribute to community building. The Washington Statement highlights the need for a holistic approach to talent development that integrates education and Christian values, and emphasizes the importance of collaboration among different stakeholders, including educators, parents, and faith leaders. The statement also calls for a focus on the needs of marginalized communities, and the creation of safe and inclusive learning environments that support the development of talents and the nurturing of Christian values. Overall, the paper provides insights into the potential of education and Christian making to address the challenges of our times, and offers concrete recommendations for policy makers, educators, and Christian leaders to promote talent development in the era of terror.
