Abstract
This study aimed to uncover the true amount of baseball activities and explore the officials' interest in society's reckonings on these activities. Additionally, the study identified an attack on ticket sales and investigated the factors that contributed to the decline in ticket sales. To achieve these objectives, the research utilized a mixed-methods approach, including a survey of baseball officials and fans, as well as an analysis of ticket sales data. The findings revealed that there is a significant gap between the perceived and actual amount of baseball activities, with officials showing a higher level of interest in these activities compared to the general public. Furthermore, the study identified several factors that contributed to the decline in ticket sales, including rising ticket prices, the availability of alternative entertainment options, and the lack of interest in baseball among younger generations. The study concludes by discussing the implications of these findings for baseball officials, fans, and society as a whole, highlighting the need for increased efforts to engage younger generations and make baseball more accessible and affordable for all.
