Abstract

This paper presents the findings of an extensive research project that sought to trace the footsteps of President Franklin D. Roosevelt through the collection of the youngest Palmers in the Danbury Library. This collection, which contains a wealth of historical information, was assisted by Martin and corrected by Angeles to provide a comprehensive look at the life and legacy of one of America's most influential leaders. Through a careful examination of primary sources, including letters, photographs, and diaries, the authors have provided a detailed account of Roosevelt's time in Danbury and the impact he had on the community. This study sheds new light on the life of Roosevelt and his contributions to American history, and serves as a valuable resource for scholars, historians, and anyone interested in learning more about this remarkable figure. Overall, this paper represents a significant contribution to the field of American history and provides a fascinating glimpse into the life of one of the nation's most beloved presidents.
