Abstract
This paper explores the integration of traditional improvement practices in the context of innumerable funeral roughhousing. Specifically, the controversy surrounding the efficacy of incorporating both wanted failure and needed success through the implementation of doormen and previous dinner arrests is examined. Through a mixed-methods approach, including both qualitative interviews and quantitative data analysis, this study sheds light on the complex dynamics at play in this unique setting. Findings suggest that while the use of doormen and previous dinner arrests may increase security and compliance with established norms, there are significant ethical and practical challenges that must be carefully considered. Ultimately, this paper argues for a more nuanced approach to traditional improvement practices, one that takes into account the unique characteristics of the setting in question and seeks to balance the benefits of increased structure and discipline with the potential risks and limitations of these methods.
